Writers Guidelines For TechnologyInnovator.com Jul 1, 2001 – TI Staff
Welcome to TechnologyInnovator.com!
Thanks for your interest in writing for our growing series of IT-related webzines.
For Journalists & Freelancers
>> If you are an IT journalist or freelancer, we do not offer any paid writing opportunities at the present time. But if you are between jobs and don't want to have a discontinuous gap on your c.v.; want to stay current in your field; and do not mind writing for free, we will be glad to post your stuff until you find a new job. During your time with us, you can add to your c.v. the title "Contributing Writer, TechnologyInnovator.com," and have plenty of clips and a bona fide reference to maintain your "c.v. continuity" during the inter-job twilight we've all experienced. As well, each posting may include a biographical summary and a link to your blog, portfolio and/or c.v.
For Aspiring Writers
>> If you're an aspiring writer, the same is true as written above for freelancers and intra-job journos. If you don't mind writing for free, we will be glad to post your stuff and help you find you first job as a technology journalist. During your time with us, you can add to your c.v. the title "Contributing Writer, TechnologyInnovator.com," and have plenty of clips and a bona fide reference to help get things going. As well, each posting may include a biographical summary and a link to your blog, portfolio and/or c.v.
For Analysts,Consultants and Tech Bloggers
>> If you are an analyst, consultant or tech blogger, and want to share your wisdom with our readers, we will be glad to post your columns, including a biographical summary and link to your company website and/or blog. For small boutique firms hoping to generate leads and find new clients, as well as larger analyst shops wanting to have an additional channel for your insights (and to market your reports), consider TechnologyInnovator.com as a platform for your insights and ideas on technology innovation. For bloggers, we like lengthy, thoughtful original columns - but not short introductions that point to aggregated content from elsewhere. As a general rule of thumb, we desire a minimum of three paragraphs or 300 words, though will consider an exception for a short but exceptionally thoughtful column.

>> All articles and columns should be text-only: no graphics, photos, figures, tables, or charts please! We love text. Indeed, we're 100%, unreformed text addicts!
