Today, eMarketer announced several organizational changes aimed to help the company continue its rapid growth and international expansion.
Terry Chabrowe, who has served as Chief Operating Officer since eMarketer was founded in 1996, has been named Chief Executive Officer, responsible for day-to-day operations and overall strategy.
Geoff Ramsey, who has been CEO since 2001, is now Chairman. Ramsey will continue to represent the eMarketer brand around the world, in addition to leading product development.
Sam Alfstad, the first CEO of the company, is now Vice-Chairman, focused on developing eMarketer’s unique market position.
“We’ve seen many changes in the digital marketing landscape over the past decade, and those changes continue to happen faster than ever,” said Chabrowe. “Rapid growth has brought major changes to eMarketer, too. This restructuring ensures that our resources are fully aligned with the huge opportunity ahead of us.”
“Bottom line—our clients will benefit from the results of these changes. That is, and has always been, our major objective,” said Ramsey.
