Enterprise Insights HP Gives Vertis Clients a Competitive Edge in Response Marketing
Jun 7, 2012 – HP News

HP has announced that Vertis Communications Inc., a results-driven marketing communications company, has adopted HP Print Module technology to complete its full-service suite of advanced color-personalization capabilities.

By integrating 4.25-inch wide, four-color HP C500 imprinting stations into its existing direct-marketing production operations in Chalfont, Pa., Vertis can offer its clients the benefits of HP technology for more cost-effective, full-color and high-volume personalization solutions.

“We keep our customers ahead of the competition with innovative technologies that maximize their return on investment,” said David Colatriano, chief operating officer, Direct Marketing, Vertis Communications. “Our installation of HP inkjet technology provides best-in-class solutions that engage customers and provide economy of scale for the ultimate level of personalization and customization.”

Vertis and HP are working together to develop new direct-marketing programs that can generate improved response rates based on personalized, full-color imaging. By varying the graphics and messaging for greater content personalization, marketers can better target consumers with meaningful, relevant offers that drive increased responses.

Integrating offset production with personalized direct marketing
Producing color text and images at a resolution of 600 dots per inch, the HP C500 prints at speeds of up to 500 feet per minute using thermal inkjet HP Scalable Printing Technology. Vertis integrated the imprinting systems with its customer-relationship management and print-server controller software to offer highly effective, proprietary personalization.

“Vertis is establishing a new standard for high-response, targeted marketing with its HP Print Module capabilities,” said Kathy Tobin, vice president and general manager, Specialty Printing Systems, HP. “We remain committed to providing our customers like Vertis the solutions they need to take their products to the next level.”

Easy to integrate, use and maintain, the HP Print Module provides quality, cost-effective variable-data imaging for use with high-volume, web-offset production. Customers can select monochrome or full-color imagers with 775-milliliter, 10-liter or 200-liter ink supply systems.

Vertis delivers inventive advertising, direct marketing and interactive solutions to prominent brands across North America. Additional information is available at www.vertisinc.com.

Additional information about HP Print Modules is available at www.hp.com/go/printmodulesolutions, and through the HP Graphic Arts Twitter feed at www.twitter.com/hpgraphicarts and YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/hpgraphicarts.
